About 2 million Muslims from more than 70 countries journey to the holy city of Makka each year to make the spiritual pilgrimage known as the Hajj.

The pilgrimage is one of five Pillars of Islam that form the framework of Islamic life. All Muslims who are physically and financially able are expected to perform the Hajj at least once. The Hajj begins on the eighth day of Dhul-Hijjah (month for Hajj), the 12th month of the Islamic year.

3. THE NAME MUST BE QUADRUPLE IN THE PASSPORT.

4. 3 PERSONAL PHOTOS (4X6) WITH A WHITE BACKGROUND

5. MARRIED WOMEN’S PASSPORTS MUST INCLUDE THE HUSBAND’S NAME.

6. WOMEN -UNDER 45 YEARS OLD- ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TRAVEL ALONE WITHOUT THEIR MEHRIM

7. FOR MEN WHO TRAVEL ALONE, THEIR AGE MUST BE 18 YEARS OLD

8. MARRIED WOMEN -OLDER THAN 45 YEARS OLD- ACCOMPANY THEIR MALE CHILDREN- UNDER 18 YEARS OLD-MUST GET AN OFFICIAL WRITTEN APPROVAL FROM THEIR HUSBANDS
