Days/11 Nights
DAY 1:
Meet & assist at Cairo
International Airport, transfer to the hotel & check in.
DAY 2:
Breakfast at hotel. Early morning
drive to Rafah (1st point). Where Holy Family had started in the Holy
Journey to Egypt, then proceeding to El Zaranik (also Knows as
Flossiat, 37 km west of el Arish), visiting the Ruins of Flossiat
church. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 3:
Breakfast at hotel. Continuing
our journey to Farama (Mid Way between El Arish & Port Said), visiting
the Roma Coptic Ruins & Ancient Monuments, then proceeding to Tel
Basta (the Main Town in Sharkia Governorate), visiting the Ruins of
the Pharaonic Monuments & Jesus Well, then continuing to Mostorod
(which was called in those days Al Mahamma), visiting the Virgin
Mary's Church & the Holy Family's Spring. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 4:
Breakfast at hotel.
Early drive to Belbeis, visiting the Virgin Mary's Church & the Tree,
passing by Meniet Samanoud (Know as Meniet Genah), then crossing the
Nile afterwards to Samanoud (also Know as jemenouty), visiting the El
Shaheed (Martyr) Abanoub Church, Virgin Mary's trough & Christ's Water
wheel, then back to Cairo. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 5:
Breakfast at hotel.
Driving to Sakha (in the district of Burullus Lake, in the present day
Kafr El Sheikh Governorate), Visiting the virgin Mary s Church, then
Crossing the Rosetta Nile branch afterwards to the Western Delta &
Heading South into wadi El Natroun (was called El Asquet), visiting
the Monasteries of Chapel, Anba beshnoy, El Sorian, Abu Makar & Al
Baramous, then back to Cairo. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 6:
Breakfast at hotel. Early drive
to Ein Shams, which was a home to a Large Jewish Community, visiting
the Ruins of the Ancient Monuments, then proceeding to Mataryia, where
we will visit Saint Mary's Tree & the Christ s Spring, proceeding to
Zeitoun, visiting the Virgin Mary s Church then Continuing to Central
Cairo, the Church of St. Mark in Ebakia & the Church of Virgin Mary in
Zuweil Alley. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 7:
Breakfast at Hotel. Driving to
Old Cairo, visiting there the Churches of Abu Sifen, Al Moalaka, Abu
Serga, St. Barbara, St. George (in the Palace of Wax Workers, the
Vigins Church identified by its alternative name of Asreit Al Rihan or
Basil Pot), Al Malak Al Quibli & all other Churches Existed, then
proceeding to Maadi, which was outlying part of Memphis the Capital of
Egypt in the Earliest Pharaonic times, visiting there Virgin Mary's
Church. Overnight at hotel
DAY 8:
Breakfast at hotel.
Crossing the Nile towards Southern Egypt to Deir El Garnos (10 km West
of Ashnein Al Nassra, near to Maghagha City) visiting Al Garnos
Monastery & the holy Family's Well, then passing by Abia Issous
(nowadays Sanfada City, East of Bahnasa City) & Samalout City, then
crossing the Nile towards the Eastern Bank to Gabal El Tair or Gabal
El Kaf, East of Samalout & South of Meadyat Beni Khaled, visiting the
Virgin Mary's Monastery. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 9:
Breakfast at hotel. Driving South
to Nazlet Al Abed, visiting Abed Tree (the Worshiper's Tree),
proceeding to El Barsha, visiting El Barsha Monastery, then crossing
the Nile to Ashmonien (Hermopolis Magna in the Greek Period), visiting
the Roman Ruins. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 10:
Breakfast at hotel.
Driving to Dairout Al Sharif (Philes), visiting Mary's Monastery &
Mary's Tree, passing by Qussquam (qosqossia) & Meir (Meira only 7 km
West of Qost Qosisia) & proceeding afterwards to Mount Qussquam (327
km from Cairo, in Assuit Governoratre) visiting the Ancient Fort &
Virgin Mary's Church in Al Moharraq Monastery, then proceeding more
South to Gabal Dronka (8 km South West of Assiut City), visiting the
Virgin Mary's Monastery . Overnight in hotel.
Day 11:
Breakfast at hotel.
Catch the train back to Cairo.
DAY 12:
Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer to Cairo Airport for final departure.
